Marla Sokoloff
Marla Sokoloff, one of the original mean girls, made appearances in lesser-known films like The Baby-Sitter’s Club and The Date. If neither of those films rings a bell, then perhaps this will: she played Gia, Stephanie’s best friend, in Full House. Coincidentally, that was her very first acting gig, and people thought the 12-year-old was going to catapult to stardom.
That didn’t turn out the be the case. She continued acting until the early 2000s, even playing a minor role in Dude, Where’s My Car and Sugar & Spice. One of the most well-known things about her was that she dated James Franco for five years after starring alongside him in Whatever It Takes.
