The French are incredibly proud of their language and would prioritize using it over English any day of the week. However, in France, Kentucky Fried Chicken still goes as KFC. So, what’s all this Poulet Frit Kentucky business we heard so much about?
PFK restaurants are actually in Quebec, Canada, where the majority of its residents speak French. A law was passed that forced businesses to translate their names into French, bringing about PFK with the classic Colonel Sanders logo was born. At first, we thought this was some sort of KFC rip-off, but apparently, it’s just a case of French Quebec being French Quebec.
