Everyone and their gym teachers know what Axe body spray is and isn’t. It isn’t a substitute for teenagers to skip taking showers and douse their bodies in the pungent spray. It is a spray deodorant that smells nice but does nothing to make the opposite gender more attracted to you.

While Axe is a pretty cool name, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK managed to make it sound even cooler. They swapped out the Axe name for Lynx, which sort of reminds us of the immense power of large cats. Apparently, there was a huge trademark dispute regarding the name Axe in the aforementioned countries, so they had to choose something else.
