From Opel to Vauxhall
Everyone in Europe and beyond will know of Opel, the car manufacturer from Germany. However, ask a Brit what they think about Opel, and they’d probably stare at you all confused. Don’t get us wrong; they have Opels in the UK, but they go by a different brand name.
There, the company that takes control of the sales and distribution of Opel vehicles is called Vauxhall. They add minor tweaks here and there to every Opel car that makes its way through Vauxhall’s factories. While Vauxhall is a British brand, the parts of the car still come from Germany. They’re just sold under a different name and logo.
