55 Things About Schools in the U.S. That Confuse Non-Americans

Watch any movie set in an American high school, and you’ll spend at least some time in the locker room, either the girls or the boys. This seems really odd to many students from other countries, as gym changing rooms are slightly different elsewhere. 

Over here we’ll shower and dress in front of our fellow students, whereas in other countries they tend to have individual cubicles. To be honest, I prefer their way of doing things. It would maybe lead to less teasing in this part of the school.
