The problem with most of the world only seeing American daily life through the medium of Hollywood movies, is you run the risk of them thinking that it can’t actually be like this in the real world. All those scenes set in high school cafeterias with the lunch line and the tables all laid out for the different cliques to sit at must just be a plot device.
Obviously, we know better and you’ll have spent your younger years working out the safe places to sit or, if you were popular, hanging with your group as you wolfed down your lunch. Do the rest of the world not have cafeterias, then? Where do they eat their lunch?
