While we’re in the cafeteria, let’s just have a word about lunch trays. We may see them as perfectly sensible mechanisms with which to divide all the different foods we want to get from the hatch at once, but some view them differently.
There is some consternation that you’d get a tray with different dips and put on it your meatloaf, gravy, and then your fruit jelly and pretzel. All on the same tray with no individual plates. To be honest, school lunches were always pretty terrible, so it didn’t really matter what you carried them back to your table on.
