Where Should They Be Placed?
Kudos to our beloved mall Santas for their tireless efforts. These patient souls contend with the most outrageous and often unfeasible demands from starry-eyed youngsters convinced they’re having a chat with the genuine Father Christmas. The role, far from being a leisurely stroll through a winter wonderland, is laden with situations necessitating quick wit and nimble reasoning. Take for instance, the child who once wished upon Santa for a living octopus or shark as a Christmas gift.
The mall Santa was taken aback, however, he gently informed the child that his elves might struggle with such a request. Not one to be easily discouraged, the youngster quickly offered a fallback option – a colossal squid. As though securing such a marine creature and positioning it in a suburban lounge would be a simpler task.
