Music crossovers

Music has been around for as long as history! It’s how we communicate, exchange ideas, and even cross cultural/linguistic barriers. As a result, various genres of music are frequently combined, such as rock and rap – like Aerosmith and Run-DMC.

One social media user jokingly predicted combining country and rap music. He wasn’t incorrect – Lil Nas X’s ‘Old Town Road,’ composed by Hill, and Trent Reznor, was one of the biggest hits a few years ago. Atticus Ross and Dutch recording engineer YoungKio brought the song to life. Billy Ray Cyrus sang on the track, which reached number one on Billboard magazine’s Hot Country Songs chart.
