My, how far we’ve come! This essay was published in a California newspaper more than 70 years ago and is reasonably correct. The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph president, Mark Sullivan, definitely called it.
Dr. Raymond M. Sullivan predicts that we will be able to see one another, translate languages, and have phones on us at all times, similar to a watch, in the future. What’s interesting is that modern smartphones can now be connected with a watch!
