Oh how right Westley was!
In the beloved 1987 film ‘Princess Bride,’ protagonist Westley (played by Cary Elwes) makes a statement about masks. He was correct – but the mask he was wearing covered his upper half of the face. So he was really close.
As Fezzik inquires about the mask, Westley replies that everyone will wear them in the future. What a prophetic statement. Guess we’ll see how it turns out in three and a half decades. Buckle up, Buttercup!
