The Dangers of Cycling
Here is a picture of Annamiek van Vleuten, a Dutch cyclist. She just returned home after a training session. Walk-in a park, some might say. After all, how dangerous could cycling be? Just signal that you want to turn left or right, and you should reach your destination safely!

But did you know that there are inherent risks to cycling? For instance, you could collide into a lamppost and bash your skull in. You could also do a summersault over your handlebars and accidentally kiss the pavement. Luckily, none of those things happened to Annamiek; she simply fell off her bike. That’s a pretty mean cut, though.
