More than a decade ago, a Coca Cola employee and his partner somehow managed to get their hands on the company’s super-secret recipe. There are officially only two people in the world who can ever know the recipe at any given time per company protocol. These two thieves were not the designated recipe-knowers.

In an attempt to make millions for their theft, they contacted Pepsi and offered to sell them their competitor’s recipe. Instead of jumping on the deal, Pepsi went the ethical route and contacted people at Coca Cola headquarters of the plot.
