We stopped shoplifters for good
Retail stores will attach locks on smaller items to stop people from stealing them. Ideally, they’ll put such items behind a glass display, and an employee has to open up the case with a set of keys they carry around. However, they can’t do this with every item, so they’ll have to resort to the tried-and-true method of using rod locks.

But what management failed to realize is that you can easily detach the box from the rod. You don’t have to call an employee to remove the lock and slide the box out. Who would steal a 32GB USB drive, anyway? Go for the 64GB, at least.
