Books and tunes
That’s right, iBooks and iTunes are forbidden in China as well, they can not have a population reading whatever they want whenever they want. That could cause anarchy and new ideas to pop up in people’s minds which could very well be harmful to their government. Censorship seems like a lot of work to us.
We thought that blocking new information and technologies would be very simple, but as it turns out, it really is anything but that. Even going to the point of not allowing certain books and songs to be found and consumed. We wonder what songs can not be played over there, maybe they have a thing against rock n roll.
