Raining Fish
A wild phenomenon took place in December 2019 at Drake Beach in California when thousands of urechis unicinctus – a species of worm – washed up on the shore. They completely covered the sand. It looked like it had been raining fish! Imagine heading to the beach for a fun day just to see this sight!

The beach was no longer a fun place for people, but it instead became a buffet for seagulls and other sea animals. People from Asia could have been excited too as these are considered a delicacy in South Korea and Japan, although they are not the easiest food to consume.
