Best Kid Hacks to Read More Books

August 30, 2022 by Elizabeth Grillo

Do your kids love reading books? Mine do! In fact, my daughter is so into reading that she has started to read chapter books on her own. I’m always looking for ways to help her read more, and I think I have found the perfect solution – kid hacks! Kid hacks are simple ways to make life a little easier, and they can be used for just about anything. In this blog post, we will discuss some of the best kid hacks for reading more books.

Let them stay up later at night if they read.

This is a great way to get them to read more because they can stay up and read for as long as they want. You can also set a timer so that they have to stop reading after a certain amount of time. This will help them to focus on their reading and not get too tired.

Give them rewards.

Every time your child reads a certain number of books, give them a small reward. This could be anything from a new book to a toy. This will help them to see that reading is something that is worth their time and effort.

Make sure they have plenty of books.

If you want your child to read more, make sure they have plenty of books to choose from. Take them to the library or buy them books that they are interested in. The more options they have, the more likely they are to find something that they will want to read.

Have them read the book before the movie adaptation.

This is a great way to get them interested in reading the book. If they know that they will be able to see the movie soon, they will be more likely to read it. You can also use this as a reward – if they finish the book, they can watch the movie.

Use funny voices when reading aloud.

This is a great way to make reading more fun. When you are reading aloud, use different voices for the different characters. This will help to keep them interested in what you are saying.
