In 2011, DC Comics released Green Lantern starring none other than Ryan Reynolds, the man who would move from DC to Marvel to take up the role of Deadpool. If you’re wondering why he had betrayed DC after bestowing upon him one of the most powerful weapons in the known universe, you can probably see why after watching the movie.

Estimates show that DC spent nearly half a billion dollars to produce and promote the film, but in the end, they lost $98 million on Green Lantern. The movie wasn’t bad, but it didn’t live up to the expectations of superhero movies. But some good did come out of Green Lanterns, namely, one of the cutest Hollywood couples (Ryan and Blake Lively).
