Thank Goodness I Don’t Actually See a Toad in the Hole
If you haven’t noticed already, let us inform you that the Brits love combining things that they love to eat. This is probably why almost every meal you find in the island nation will include some kind of carb, batter or sausage. The toad in the hole is where the Yorkshire pudding and sausages come together.
We have no idea where the name of the dish came from. Thankfully, you won’t be eating frog legs if you order this. Instead, you’ll be eating sausages cooked in a Yorkshire pudding batter, which rises up around the sausage giving it this unique look. Don’t forget the gravy and veggies to put on top!
