A Dollop of Clotted Cream
We’ve finally arrived at a part of the English culture that Brits are famous for: afternoon tea time. While many think this is a break in between meals, it actually fills one up enough to substitute as a tiny lunch. Tea time involves tiny finger sandwiches, mini cakes and scones.
Tea time in the regions of Cornwall and Devon are a bit more satisfactory. They usually drink cream tea with scones that have clots of cream on them from the cooking process. And of course the meal would not be complete without some kind of spread. In this case, jams or jellies are the most delectable.
