Examples of Cartoon Logic That Made Us Laugh

On the surface, Tom and Jerry seemed to be the tale of a dysfunctional yet sweet friendship between a cat and a mouse. Sure friends don’t try to hurt other friends with weapons and explosives but it was all fun and games when we were little. You may remember Tom as being impulsive and that meant his plans would backfire more often than not. 

We’ve seen him get smashed, sliced, electrocuted, change shape, and with exaggerated bumps on the head, yet somehow he always managed to recover rather quickly. Did he have some kind of superpower or was it just cartoon logic at work again?
