Examples of Cartoon Logic That Made Us Laugh

March 18, 2015 by Veronica Phillips

He’s Free

As much as we love Spider-Man, we can’t help but point out the obvious flaw in this scene. It seems like two evil people have him cornered and they’ve even tried to constrain him so he can’t get away. If you look closely, though, you will realize that the duct tape isn’t really doing its job and Spider-Man’s arms are still very much free.

So, in theory, he could leave whenever he wanted. Where’s his spidey sense now? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the original series was aired from 1967 to 1970 and back then, animators had low budgets and had to stick to simple artwork.
