Mandy Moore
Mandy Moore gained success in Hollywood from a young age, signing a record deal with Epic Records at only 13 years old. Her single “Candy” dropped in 1999 and became unavoidable on the radio. While Moore was releasing hit singles, she was waving her pom-poms on the side at Bishop Moore Catholic High School.
Moore was still in her freshman year when she dropped out to sing professionally. Even though she was talented and opened for bands like NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys, Moore’s singing career didn’t last. Moore finally stuck to acting and starred in critically acclaimed movies like A Walk to Remember, Chasing Liberty, and Because I Said So with Diane Keaton.
