Phyllis Smith
Phyllis Smith is one of the only actresses on our list who took cheerleading past her education. Smith was a professional cheerleader for the St. Louis Cardinals football team in the 1970s and later became a burlesque dancer. With an obvious passion to perform, Smith took her career to acting in the 1990s.
The 70-year-old starred in her first credited movie performance in 1991 as Marsha in I Want to Eat Cheese with Someone. Smith is most famous for her role as Phyllis Vance on the American version of the British hit comedy television series, The Office, for which she won two Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2006 and 2007.
