Bruno Mars
For the majority of the early stages of his career, Bruno Mars wasn’t the man we know him as today. He was a songwriter who came up with the lyrics for several top hits, including Cee Lo Green’s Forget You and Travie McCoy’s One at a Time. But when he was given the opportunity to sing his own material, he blew up immediately.
However, in an article in the McClatchy Tribune, he stated that his initial goal wasn’t to become famous. All he wanted to do was make music and sing—nothing more, nothing less. The fame that came as a byproduct of his hit songs has taken a toll on both his physical and mental health.
