#28: Alfred Hitchcock Knows All About It
There’s a reason that Alfred Hitchcock was able to make a horror movie about birds. They seem innocent, just minding their own business and flying about. However, something about their beady little eyes and sharp, pointy beaks and claws can be quite threatening. Scarlett Johansson can easily see the danger in birds.
The Avengers actress said that their flapping wings are enough to fill her with anxiety, and she’ll go to great lengths to avoid being near birds. Scarlett isn’t the only one in her family to suffer from ornithophobia; her uncle also has the same paranoia about birds. It’s a small comfort, but it must be reassuring to have somebody who can relate.
