44. Emma Stone
Despite the fact that she isn’t working much these days, Emma Stone’s acting abilities have contributed to some of the best films of the decade. Acting roles in films such as Superbad, Zombieland, and Easy A further established Stone’s reputation as a versatile actress. Stone was nominated for her first Academy Award for her performance as Michael Keaton’s daughter in the extraordinary film Birdman.
To act in the Spiderman films alongside Andrew Garfield, one of Hollywood’s most famous redheads, Stone, took a major risk by committing to the project. It was, however, her portrayal in the Civil Rights Era film The Help, in which Stone played a young journalist working on a story on bigotry in the American South, that garnered the most attention.
