#34: It’s a Whole New World
Daily life looks so different than it did during the boomer generation. It’s why boomers struggle to understand what’s “wrong” with millennials. The expectations are higher, the pay is less, and we are constantly inundated with work hard, play harder mentalities because we have seen how miserable our parents were.

What was important to the previous generations seems near inconsequential now. The whole buy a car, own a home, spend weekends in the yard to keep up with the Joneses lifestyle is unattainable. It only makes sense that we would lose ourselves in social media to escape the pressure of it all.
