Renée Zellweger
Long before Renée Zellweger became the highest-paid actress in 2007, the Texas native cheered for Katy High School, where she also participated in gymnastics and debate, as well as made several athlete teams. Renée dropped out of college after her father was fired, where she began working as a cocktail waitress.
At the time, she already had big dreams of making it in Hollywood. She earned several minor roles in low-budget films and TV shows, but in 1996, she landed her breakthrough role as Dorothy Boyd in Jerry Maguire. Renée became an international star after playing Bridget Jones in Bridget Jones’s Diary alongside Hugh Grant.
