Childhood Secrets The Internet Couldn’t Keep Any Longer

July 14, 2012 by Jade Parker

We long for the days of our childhood when life felt stupendously easier than adulthood. We were free of big people’s worries like overpriced utility bills, heated political debates with relatives over Thanksgiving dinner, and wasting away the best years of our life at work. However, we often forget there’s one thing even our youthful innocence couldn’t save us from secrets. You wouldn’t think kids would have much to hide with their seemingly simple lives, but these Redditors were ready to get the heavy weight of their childhood secrets off their chest, reminding us that it wasn’t all rainbows and unicorns. Many were hiding mischievous misdeeds, while others were embarrassed by the hilariously strange things they believed before they knew better, which brought r/AskReddit closer together as they discovered they weren’t the only ones flipping off their parents in their pockets or running around the neighborhood naked before their parents woke up. If you ever felt like a weird kid, this list might make you feel a little more normal.

Secret Ingredient Snowballs

Getting into a snowball fight is risky. Sure, it starts out fun, tossing a little cold, dusty snow in your friend’s face, but the snowballs get bigger and harder with each shot as you frantically pack the snow as tight as you can and hurl it with all your might until your opponent surrenders.

This since-deleted Redditor took it to the next level and used a snowball fight to get back at his sister’s bullies by adding an extra ingredient to their ammo. The comments section gave them a gloved thumbs up for sticking up for their sis. Do you think this was a turd too far, or did they doo the right thing?
