Priorities are in tact
When it comes to buying stuff for ourselves, we can be pretty cheap. Shopping often times comes with a sense of guilt, that we’re buying stuff we don’t really need, we’re spending too much money, we can put this money to better use, etc. It’s normal, and it happens to most of us. Even if it’s true, and we are indulging in a brand new shirt or something we don’t really need at the moment – is that so bad?
However, when it comes to buying Christmas presents, people go all out. There’s something so rewarding about buying presents for other people – buying your sister, your father or your friend something you know they would love. Don’t you think? We couldn’t have said it better than this person, and that’s part of the Christmas magic.
