#10 Sleeping Beauty
Raise your hands if you’ve ever been in a situation like this before. It took 30 years after the release of Sleeping Beauty to make another adaptation of a fairy tale. Why did the majority of early Disney movies adapt stories that were already in the public domain?
Anyway, the film is about a princess whose name slips our minds right now (Aurora! Thanks, Google!) as she sleeps for… a few hours? According to the tale, 100 years passed. Disney really worked their fast-forward magic there, huh?
