Pay Attention to Pan Colors
That’s right – the color of your pan matters. Different pans have different cooking temperatures and can affect the way your baked goods turn out. Usually, a recipe will let you know which pan to use, or at least what temperature is best according to the pan you’re using. Darker-colored pans always need a lower temperature.
Think about how your body feels when you wear dark colors on a hot day. The same holds true for baking. Lighter-colored pans will absorb less heat than dark-colored pans, so keep that in mind when you head into your kitchen. Also, pay attention to what pan color your recipe calls for.
