Watch Your Oven Temperature
Improper oven temperatures can undercook or overcook a dish in no time flat. It is always a good idea to have an oven thermometer on hand when baking to prevent burned tops and overcooked dishes. They are pretty affordable and can even help with your preheating preparations.
Older ovens or even broken ovens can get hotter than you plan which will lead to burned tops on your baked goods. Depending on what you’re making, you may even end up burning the entire dish. Instead, use an oven thermometer to prevent avoidable temperature overages.
