Using Cooking Spray to Grease Your Dish
Cooking spray is a great way to make your cooking surface slick and prevent sticking. However, just because it is easy and effective doesn’t mean that it’s the best option. If your recipe calls for cooking spray, then feel free to have at it, otherwise, skip the short cut or you will end up with a weird aftertaste that could have been avoided.
There’s something classic about using butter or oil to grease your pan. Not only will they enrich the flavor of your food, but they will also keep them from sticking. Most recipes incorporate a little amount of oil or butter that will be used on the pan, so cooking spray won’t cut it.
