Kittens are quite possibly the cutest creatures in the world. We mean, puppies are pretty great too but there’s something about a teeny tiny kitten that makes our hearts melt. Clearly, that’s how this woman felt too when she brought home this tiny fellow. 

What she probably didn’t realize was that her kitty is a Maine Coon, known to be the largest breed of domestic cat. Adults can grow as long as 3.3 feet and weigh up to 18 lbs. The photo on the left shows the kitten at 3 months old and the one on the right was taken at 6 months. That’s quite a growth spurt and it isn’t even an adult yet!
