Millennials Share Gen-Z Trends and Practices That Confuse Them

October 31, 2010 by Alison Campbell

Gen-Z has some odd habits, and as with every generation, it baffles those a few years older. Of course, it’s only fair, after all the flack that Millennials have gotten over the years, that they get their chance to drag Gen-Z a bit over some of the things they do. It’s the circle of life, played out across decades. Funnily enough, much of it is things Boomers still blame on Millennials or things Millennials invented that backfired during the next generation. Let’s look at what sets Millennials off when it comes to Gen-Z! I’m sure you’ll find a few eyebrow-raising comments and many you agree with.

#1: We All Start Somewhere

We can make fun of Gen-Z for this all we want to, but the truth is that Millennials did the exact same thing… in the mirror. Gen-Z kids are just carefree enough to post it everywhere. Whether it’s TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, or Discord, if they like the video they made, it’s getting posted for likes.

Do we wish they’d be more original? Sure. Do I have the guts to post my face doing anything, anywhere? Absolutely not. Kudos to you, Gen-Z, for being fearless and not caring what others think. Please just choose good music and quit trying to bring back songs that should have been forgotten years ago.
