#19: You Use What You Know
These kids grew up with Snapchat. It’s not that they love the messaging; they can reach the people they want to reach through the platform because they all have it. It’s one of the few that haven’t been inundated with Millennials.
They also like the way the filters make them look. Sure, Instagram is catching up and offering nearly identical filters, but Snapchat is the filter OG, and these kids know how to navigate it better than they know how to use an iPhone. It all makes sense if you think about it.
