#31: Label Away
This isn’t something I’ve thought about up until now, but it’s very accurate. Gen-Z wants to be labeled and fit into their awesome boxes of individuality. It stems from their desire to be seen for who they want to be and who they are instead of people mislabeling them.
My generation abhorred labels, but people still handed them out like candy. It’s better to control the narrative, and Gen-Z has mastered this with their pronouns and overtly sexual discussions. I’m honestly proud of them. Maybe sex won’t be as taboo over the next 100 years as it has been for centuries.
