#40: Stranger Danger
As horrifying as this seems to many of us, the truth is that they aren’t sharing information that is hard to access. Nearly all of this information is already online in other places. Of course, I’d rather my kids didn’t share it on their social media, and we do talk about it often, but it’s not the safety mechanism it once was.
Gen-Z isn’t getting targeted that much, simply because it’s more fruitful to target Millenials as far as fraud and identity theft go. This is also part of the reason why we can’t just send our kids outside after school and tell them to come home when the street lights illuminate. It’s a scary world out there.
