This OP was shopping around for a condo a few years ago and decided to skip one option because the HOA sounded like a hot mess. While looking at the property, they were smart enough to check the house rules changelog. As he was reading through the kinds of rules enforced by the HOA, he found something concerning. 

At first, the community had a “no pets” rule. That rule was then amended to allow one cat per condo, which seemed totally normal. Then, two weeks later, that new rule was amended back to “no pets.” Woah. What did that cat do to warrant a reversal of the new rule? We can only speculate.
