“No Parking in Your Driveway”: Reddit Users Share Wild and Confusing HOA Rules and Regulations

This HOA rule is so obviously self-serving that we can’t help but laugh. This person’s community created a rule that banned people from parking their pickup trucks in their driveway. However, the rule wasn’t all or nothing. There were two very surprising exceptions to this rule that immediately made our storyteller roll their eyes. 

Two pickup truck models were “allowed” to park outside: the Cadillac EXT and the Lincoln Blackwood. The supposed reason these two truck models were allowed to be seen by the general public was that they were “luxury” vehicles. Turns out, the HOA president drove a Cadillac EXT. What a convenient coincidence!
