When You’re A Shadow Of Your Former Self
Seasons change, and so do we, just like this tree that has lost all its leaves for the winter. According to Star 99.9, a number cruncher on the internet estimated around 40 quadrillion leaves fall from trees in the U.S. every year. And yes, we promise “quadrillion” is a real number.
This tree likely lost a few hundred leaves, but that didn’t stop it from showing off a lush shadow against this wall, or at least pretending it was. The shadow is being cast from another tree in the distance, and you can see the naked tree’s true shadow within the shade of the greenery.
