No Tips
Tipping is another thing that varies across the world. In the United States, people assume that you’ll give them a tip of around 15 to 20% of the final bill. However, in places like Japan, it’s the opposite – tipping is seen as a sign of disrespect, and you should definitely not do it.
However, the person in this story has a point – anyone who accepts a bonus at work should have no qualms with tipping staff. Of course, these people should be paid a livable wage where they don’t need tips, but it’s okay to reward staff members when they’ve done a great job.
