#26: Up your salad game!
If you eat salads often, you know how vital a good dressing can be. The store-bought dressing is okay, but homemade dressing can take a salad to a different level. Making your vinaigrette sounds complicated, but it’s not! It’s also much healthier and gives you complete control of the flavors. There are many recipes available, but here is the basic concept.
You’ll need one part vinegar to three parts oil. Any oil will do, but you’ll want to choose the one you enjoy the taste of, like avocado or grape seed. Extra virgin olive oil has a robust flavor and can overpower your other additions, so steer clear. Same for your vinegar. Choose the one you like. Once you’ve combined the two, add any herbs and spices that you enjoy, and voila!
