Have you ever come across a piece of furniture or item that looked so cool and intricate but seemed like a real pain to clean? The Facebook group ‘Things designed by people who don’t have to clean them’, is dedicated to sharing images and facilitating discussion around exactly that. Most of the time, we buy items to serve a purpose and when they struggle to serve that purpose effectively and efficiently then we are inclined to lose interest. When the people who design these items don’t actually have to use these items, there is a lot of room for error. But by seeing bad design, you tend to understand what makes good design.
