Momma Bear
The only thing more dangerous than a fully grown male black bear, is a fully grown mother bear! Because where there is a mother bear, there are sure to be cubs nearby! He knew by looking at her size and coat colour, that this was a female bear!
Thomas could tell by the way she was moving that something was desperately wrong.
Why is she out on the road? And where are her cubs? Things could go from bad to worse if the mother bear started feeling threatened by his presence. Thomas had to act fast!
