Too Dangerous
The cubs were growing, and fast! At this age, if they were in the wild, they would be learning to hunt from their mother. But these cubs didn’t have a mother to teach them to hunt and hide and swim. Plus, they were still too small and vulnerable to be released now.
With wild wolves, coyotes, and other bears around, the pair would be an easy meal. It seemed like the decision for now, at least, would be to keep the cubs until they grew up a little bit more. No one was more excited than Thomas!
