Bears’ Progress
The bears became sort of a mascot for the State Troopers and they were visited regularly by members of the force, especially Thomas. The Troopers were updated on the bears’ progress and everyone was rooting for them to pull through, regain their strength, and be sent home.
With every passing day, the bears were putting on more weight. They were also let out into a gated conservation area to help ease them back into their natural habitat. But also, more crucially, to help them learn how to find food on their own. Everyone loved watching the pair run around!
