Dave Would Be Angry
Here’s a choosing beggar story where the villain is not the buyer but the seller. The seller, whose name is Michael, had a deal lined up with the buyer, whose name is Dave. Michael and Dave agreed on a price, but Michael was having second thoughts.
He didn’t want to let the item go for the agreed-upon price. He needed to see whether Dave was willing to pay more for it first since he “forgot” to change the price on his post, even though he claimed that he initially just wanted to get rid of it. If we were Dave, we wouldn’t want to deal with Michael any longer, even if he brought it back down to the original asking price.
